The incredible resilience in relation to weight and the handy capacity of 20 liters are equally suitable as a summit backpack for hiking adventures, as a daypack for sightseeing while traveling or for transporting spontaneous grocery shopping. The siliconized nylon fabric is easy to handle, water-repellent, has tacks and reinforced seams at key stress points and can be reduced to the size of a tennis ball. With unpadded shoulder straps, the recommended maximum load for comfortable carrying is 7 kg.

Waterproof?
No. It's just water-repellent. Even if the backpack is made of waterproof material, water can get in through the seams (which are not sealed) and the zipper. A few minutes of light rain wouldn't be a problem, but a heavy rain would result in the contents of the backpack possibly getting wet.
