Whatever your activity of choice, the Talon's got plenty of space for tools-of-the-trade – with tuck-away ice axe attachment, an external sleeve for a hydration bladder, and Osprey's much-loved 'stow-on-the-go' quick stash system for your trekking poles. Aside from the main compartment, you've also got a variety of external pockets, including a roomy stretch mesh one on the front. For our money, the big plus point of the Talon 33 is the carrying comfort. Like the other packs in the Talon series, it uses Osprey's breathable Airscape mesh-and-foam backpanel, teamed with a close-fitting adjustable harness system, padded hipbelt and extra-flexible BioStretch seams for free movement.
