Karabiner SM'D Screw-Lock

The Sm'D is a D-shaped compact and lightweight locking carabiner that can be used in many situations. It is easy to use even when wearing gloves and is available with two locking systems.

Many uses:

• Particularly efficient thanks to its D-shape, regardless of the direction of use, ideal for various applications: attaching a safety system, a pulley, at the end of a lanyard, etc.
• Compact design and very lightweight.

Good handling and ergonomics:

• The D-shape fits comfortably in the hand.
• The H-shaped cross-section makes it easy to handle with gloves.
• The keylock system prevents the carabiner from snagging.
• Hole for threading a cord to connect a TIBLOC rope clamp or a MICRO
• TRAXION pulley to the carabiner and prevent it from falling.

Available with two locking systems depending on the intended use:

• SCREW-LOCK: easy-to-open system, can be locked or unlocked as needed. A red indicator is visible when the carabiner is unlocked. The system is suitable for difficult environments where mud or ice could cause the automatic locking system to fail.
• TWIST-LOCK: special use where quick opening is important (e.g., at the end of a lanyard) and for connecting a GRIGRI to the harness.
