Thanks to the all-round, H-shaped down chambers, the down can be "shaken upwards" if required - the so-called downshift function. This means that the heat distribution can be optimised in just a few simple steps and adapted to the sleeping pad used and the outside temperature. Like its warmer counterparts, the Ultra 0° also has an elaborately designed, comfortable 3D footbox, while its zip cover effectively prevents unpleasant cold bridges.

The filling of the finest, RDS-certified European goose down, with a minimum fill power of 850 cuin, gives it excellent, homogeneous thermal performance. However, the focus of the Ultra series is not only on the filling, EXPED also uses only the finest of the finest in the manufacturing process. Pertex Quantum, which is made entirely from recycled polyamide, is used as the outer and inner material. Details such as the zip and webbing are made from recycled PET bottles.
