You can secure your luggage with compression straps, and the zipper of the main compartment has lockable zipper pulls so that you can secure your luggage against theft. The zip-off front backpack is a fully-fledged daypack with a padded back, ergonomic shoulder straps and various pockets. This means you have the daypack with you for trips and as hand luggage on the plane. The Great Escape's elaborately padded Vent Comfort carrying system ensures good load transfer into the ergonomically padded hip belt, making the backpack very comfortable to wear.
